A captivating and convivial competition featuring budding burlesque stars of tomorrow
before they hit the headlines!
The Tournament of Tease is held on the first Thursday of every month.
The show is hosted by

The Tournament is a truly splendiferous event! Behold an eye-catching assortment of artistes, a judging panel of burlexperts and a saucy, bump and grind compere.
This is the perfect platform for people who are new to performance as well as those who are looking to become more established in the burlesque scene and are using this night as a chance to audition for the Whoopee Agency.
Many of Britain's popular burlesque performers were first seen at the Tournament of Tease!

EXTREMELY FANTASTIC NEWS!
I am SO proud to announce that, once again, graduates from the LONDON ACADEMY OF BURLESQUE have won the Battle Royale competition at the London Burlesque & Variety Fringe Festival.
In 2008 the fiery femme fatale Siren Stiletto won Best London Newcomer and the stunning burlesque dance duo Frivolitease won Best Troupe.
This year, the Best Troupe title has been claimed by The Knickerbocker Glories and Best London Newcomer runner-up was the delightful Dolly Rose.
Not only but also...I am over the moon to announce that the WINNER of the title Best London Newcomer 2009 is my amazing personal assistant and valued friend - the very cheeky, charming striptease starlet Kiki Kaboom!
Well done to all my students who took and take part in this and any other competition; it takes courage to compete and whatever the outcome, you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves!

Cosmopolitan has teamed up with the London Academy of Burlesque to celebrate the fierce new single; ‘Big Bad Handsome Man' from the rather beautiful Irish jazz and rockabilly singing sensation Imelda May. This is the 2nd single taken from her amazing debut album; ‘Love Tattoo'. Imelda booms out her unique fusion of blues and rockabilly. Her powerful burlesque-inspired style and performances earned Imelda the nomination of Best Burlesque Singer in 2007.
