A captivating and convivial competition featuring budding burlesque stars of tomorrow - before they hit the headlines!
The Tournament of Tease is held on the first Thursday of every month.
The show, hosted by Goodtime Mama Jojo (aka Jo King) starts at 9.30pm
(doors open 8.30pm).
The Tournament is a truly splendiferous event! Behold an eye-catching assortment of artistes, a judging panel of burlexperts and a saucy, bump and grind compere.
This is the perfect platform for people who are new to performance as well as those who are looking to become more established in the burlesque scene and are using this night as a chance to audition for the Whoopee Agency.
Many of Britain's popular burlesque performers were first seen at the Tournament of Tease!
This most talked about of nights is preceded each month with a chance to
learn the fine art of burlesque tease and movement
with Jo King, the only teacher who is recommended by Whoopee!
Classes are £20, a cost that includes the ability to bump and grind at the drop of a hat for the rest of your life AND front seats at the Tournament of Tease. Classes start at 7:15pm.
"Jo King
choreographed the opening routine for my critically acclaimed show 'Immodesty
Blaize and the Adventures of Walter'. An otherwise technically difficult
performance to achieve was transformed into a sequence that appeared artful and
effortless to the audience. Jo pushed me to achieve the absolute best out of the
piece, with meticulous attention to detail. She really is a pleasure to work
with. "

"Goodtime Mama Jojo" not only hosts this scrumptious evening but also treats you to a rare performance or two of her own.
Join us and witness a bevy of new burlesque acts with a smattering of seasoned sexy performers.
This special night overflows with an abundance of tempting tipples, naughty nibbles and wonderful wiggles.
Audience participation is coaxed, cajoled and cared for.
